The Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC) is a standing committee at Georgia State University, whose composition and responsibilities are mandated by the Animal Welfare Act & Regulations (Public Law 98-198), the Public Health Service Policy and the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals. Qualifications Requires Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of five years of related experience in IACUC administration. Requires demonstrated expertise in research regulations related to laboratory animal welfare. Experience in the management of research activities involving laboratory animals preferred. Requires CPIA. |
