Veterinary Technician

Sinclair Research Center is a privately owned biomedical research facility located in Central Missouri. Sinclair offers specialty biomedical research services in a large range of species encompassing most categories of applied human and veterinary medicine. Sinclair is AAALAC accredited and is strongly committed to animal welfare. Sinclair is currently seeking a veterinary technician to join its fast-paced team of dedicated individuals.

The Veterinary Technician position is critical in bridging study procedures from Operations to Veterinary services. They participate in data collection, animal health monitoring, blood collections, dose administration, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, sample collection, surgical preparation and recovery, and supporting staff veterinarians. More advanced technicians may also assist during surgical procedures and perform minor procedures themselves. Opportunities exist to learn more advanced dosing and sample collection techniques.
