The Division of Animal Resources at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center at Emory University is currently seeking for an experienced Veterinary Technician III for a full-time position to support the Veterinary Medicine department’s Animal Biosafety Level 3 work in the Division of Animal Resources. The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and skill working with nonhuman primate and/or rodent infectious disease models at ABSL-3, including safe work practices, recognizing the appearance of abnormal health conditions, and providing veterinary care to animals and research support to investigators. Specifically, ABSL-3 work with SARS-CoV-2/ COVID19 will be a focus for this position. The qualified candidate will have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and enjoy working on a team in a fast-paced environment. This position reports directly to the Vet Tech Supervisor and Chief of Clinical Operations.

Additional Salary Information: Salary range: $37,900 - $62,500 annually. Specific salary will be determined based on applicant qualifications and experience.
