Animal Laboratory Technician I - Department of Comparative Medicine

| Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, the Animal Care Coordinator, and/or Animal Laboratory Technician III (Lead Technician), our Animal Lab Tech I (ALT) will be responsible for performing both routine and specialized technical duties related to the husbandry of the research models of human disease. You will observe animals for abnormalities, performs animal care, cage sanitation, room and general facility sanitation, room environmental monitoring and documentation, cage card bar-coding, etc. as required. Will assist the Clinical Staff (animal handling and restraint) under the direct supervision of the Clinical Staff. You must be a motivated self-starter with good teamwork practices and good communication (in English) skills. Education required:
