The Compliance Coordinator will coordinate, implement, and oversee compliance/ regulatory issues and policies relating to the animal care and use program at Augusta University. This position serves as a resource for all matter relating to the functions of the IACUC (i.e. training, communications, policy information, committee coordination, inspection, etc.) They will be responsible for communications between the IACUC and regulatory agencies (i.e. USDA, AAALAC, OLAW), AU research investigators and faculty, IACUC committee members, Director and staff members in the Department of Lab Animal Services, members of the Occupational Health Program, etc. The duties include, but are not limited to: Assist with development and implementation of AU institutional policies and pr
