This position is primarily responsible for supporting the HCCM Veterinary Team for programmatic and clinical needs in the care of laboratory animal species including rodents, USDA- covered species, and aquatic species. Essential duties include: performing rodent clinical rounds, including making health assessments and administering treatments; working closely with Animal Care, Cage Wash, and Research staff; providing hands-on training in sample collection, animal handling and restraint, ID methods, humane euthanasia techniques, rodent anesthesia, and other relevant techniques as assigned.
