This position is governed by the Minnesota Teamsters Union Local 320. Overview:This bargaining unit position is responsible for cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and caring for the various kinds of caging apparatus and equipment used for housing laboratory animals.Ongoing tasks may include the following:• Operate cage and bottle washers, autoclaves, and bedding dispensing/disposal equipment. Move/lift heavy equipment/animals.• Order and store feed and supplies.• Clean and sanitize equipment, rooms, and facilities.• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.This position is designed as a training position, and by the 6 (six) month employment mark, employees may be reclassified into the Laboratory Animal Attendant (6062) pos
