The gnotobiotic mouse technician position supports operations in the Massachusetts Host Microbiome Center (MHMC) Gnotobiotic Animal Facility at Brigham and Women's Hospital. This unique facility supports pre-clinical and basic science studies for how our colonizing microbes affect health and the development of disease. The facility supports active studies in areas including food allergy, inflammatory bowel disease, neonatal development and immunity to infectious diseases. The position works within the technical team maintaining germfree isolators, general animal husbandry, and support for experimental procedures.
