This is a 100% limited position for one (1) year with possibility of extension or conversion to career status based on the needs of the department and availability of funding.DESCRIPTIONThe Lab Assistant will assist in investigating the mechanisms that regulate brain cells and the connections between them. The goal of the research is to understand how specialized neurotransmitters called neuromodulators regulate the nervous system and how these processes go awry in human disease.
