The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank.  The appointees will share responsibilities including clinical care and oversight of multiple species, assisting in the Animal Resources Center (ARC) training program as well as the The American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM ) recognized veterinary residency training program, contributing to the development of institutional animal care and use policies, participating in The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) protocol review, and providing investigator consultation on research protocols.  Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity.We especially welcome applicants with ACLAM board certifica
