Minimum Qualifications - Laboratory Research Manager
Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or field of study related to the research of the laboratory. Master's degree or PhD preferred.
Experience: Six (6) years of experience working in a research laboratory setting that include four (4) years in the relevant research specialization.
Supervisory Experience: Two (2) years of direct supervision or responsibility for training, work coordination, and monitoring the work of others.
Certification/Licensure: N/A.
Other: May require training related to occupational safety and health, environmental compliance, shipping of hazardous materials and/or ionizing radiation. May include working in biohazardous/select agents and/or in Biosafety Level-3 Laboratories (ABSL-3) which require successful completion of Department of Justice security clearance for work with Select Agents and Toxins, as required by Federal regulation.

Education: Bachelor's degree in biology, agriculture, veterinary science, biochemistry, chemistry, or field of study related to the animal science. Master's degree or PhD preferred.
Experience: Six (6) years of experience working with animals in a research laboratory setting or in an animal hospital, including four (4) years in the relevant research specialization involving rodent/multi-species clinical evaluation and/or procedures.
Supervisory Experience: Two (2) years of direct supervision or responsibility for training, work coordination, and monitoring the work of others.
Certification/Licensure: N/A.
Other: May require training related to occupational safety and health, environmental compliance, shipping of hazardous materials and/or ionizing radiation. May include working in biohazardous/select agents and/or in Animal Biosafety Level-3 Laboratories (ABSL-3) which require successful completion of Department of Justice security clearance for work with Select Agents and Toxins, as required by Federal regulation.

Hiring Ranges:
Laboratory Research Manager: Low 80's to Mid 90's
Laboratory Animal Research Manager: 90's to Low 100's
Salary ranges are commensuare with education and experience.
