The Senior Veterinarian will provide expertise to assure humane care and treatment of the animal population used in the development of implantable devices, biomaterials, and/or biotherapeutic treatments at an AAALAC-accredited research facility. This will include recommendations and implementation of accepted standards pertaining to: animal husbandry, preventative medicine, experimental surgery, anesthesia, analgesia, diagnosis and treatment of health problems.  The position reports to the Director, Medical Group at Medtronic Physiological Research Laboratories (PRL).
