The ARS High Containment Operations Manager is responsible for routine husbandry and care of laboratory animals in the NEIDL ABSL2 and ABSL3 vivaria. The position of Operations Manager supports staffing needs for scheduling, supply orders/inventory, animal census, and training while creating a safe working environment and helping to ensure that NEIDL vivaria are maintained at the high standards required by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC), and Boston University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
