Department OverviewThe Behavioral Neuroscience department is looking to hire a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate, depending on the candidates qualifications. The Research Associate will perform work focusing on molecular mechanisms involved in social aspects of alcohol use disorder and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. This work includes behavioral and molecular research with prairie voles and mice, as well as maintaining colonies of these animals. The majority of work will be performed in the laboratory of Dr. Andrey Ryabinin. Strong background in biology is required. Understanding molecular neuroscience of behavior and statistics is preferred. Attentiveness to detail in performing experiments with animals and concern for their wellbeing
