Haverford College invites applications to our full-time (37.5 hours per week), non-exempt, benefits-eligible Senior Animal Facilities Technician opportunity. The Senior Technician will support both the fish facility, housed in the Biology department, and the rodent vivarium, housed in the Psychology department. Key duties will include maintaining the day-to-day operations of both facilities, including animal husbandry, assisting with supervision of student workers, interfacing with the Facilities department, troubleshooting maintenance problems, and contributing to the on-call responsibilities that are necessarily involved with facilities that house live animals year-round.
