Under the direction of a supervisor, responsible for packing and shipping of testing supplies, collecting, packing, weighing, disposing medical waste in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position will also inspect and prepare lab ware, wash/dry and sterilize lab ware, operates washer/dryers, hot air ovens and autoclaves. Performs tasks involved in operating, maintaining, and cleaning various types of laboratory equipment, including but not limited to preparing media, handling specimens, supplies and equipment, and/or caring for laboratory animals.
