Reporting directly to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR), the goal of the OSR Operations & Training Program is to analyze federal, state and university policies and assist in developing guidance for OSR staff; train and certify pre-award research administrators; and support personnel in the proposal process and award acceptance. The Operations and Training Officer is responsible for supporting content development, delivering trainings, and overseeing the certification process, as needed, for OSR.
