Animal Care TechnicianAbout the OpportunityThe Animal Care Technician provides husbandry and care to laboratory animals, maintains animal inventory records and Animal Husbandry and Room Maintenance Records and performs facility sanitation in Northeastern University's Division of Laboratory Animal Medicine (DLAM). This Animal Care Technician completes assigned work schedules with little to no supervision. The Technician should be able to work independently and make sound decisions in their daily routine. The position requires weekend and holiday work hours as well as daily exposure to laboratory animals and their waste products.
