Animal Training Specialist
The Johns Hopkins University is seeking to hire an Animal Training Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing and conducting positive reinforcement training and socialization with a variety of species, including nonhuman primates, swine, and dogs. In this role, the ideal candidate will both train animals for husbandry, clinical, and research needs. The Specialist will advise researchers, students, and staff on best practices for training animals and reinforcing trained behaviors. They may also be required to conduct in vivo sampling for animals on research study. This role supports the work of the behavioral management program of Research Animal Resources at the Johns Hopkins University. Specific Duties & Responsibilities
