Job Summary Animal Facilities is looking for a dedicated Gnotobiotic Technician. This role oversees isolators, changes cages on specialized gnotobiotic ventilated racks and coordinates space to meet demands of all PI staff, performs husbandry as needed and submits all confirmation testing to ensure isolators are clean.   This position also has oversight of breeding in breeding isolators including rotating breeding mice to ensure consistent numbers, record keeping and communication with PI staff to discuss colony status, performs technician research support to investigators doing research, and provides oversight to student assigned to area and coordinates work for full-time technicians who provide assistance.
