Laboratory Animal Technician, University of Maryland, College Park
The University of Maryland, College Park is hiring a Laboratory Animal Technician to support its evolving animal care and use program. This essential full-time position in the Department of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR).  The individual provides animal care services.  Requires a dedicated, trained individual who can provide care for a wide variety of species (may include, but is not limited to, rodents, rabbits, reptiles, amphibians, songbirds, barn owls, ferrets, and swine. The individual will perform facility sanitation duties, prepare and maintain animal care and use documentation, support ongoing research activities and provide veterinary supportive care as directed by veterinary staff.
