Provide support for a research project, including coordination and preparation of the experimental set-up (e.g. prepares electing and analyzing behavioral and electrophysical data).
Providing general administrative support to and interact with all research support staff and student research assistants.
Collects and enters data. Assists in the analysis of data and with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
Provides routine or standardized laboratory duties by collecting data in support of research projects under direct supervision.
 This job provides technical and administrative support in a laboratory environment performing basic laboratory techniques, research and analysis under direction.
Complies with institution, state and federal regulatory policies, procedures, directives, and mandates.
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelorâ™s degree in Psychology, Biological Sciences or equivalent knowledge.
Experience:
A minimum of 6 months of relevant research experience.
Prior experience working with rodents and animal behavior.
Prior experience working with electrophysiology in awake, behaving rodents, experience with survival surgery in rodents.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
Knowledge in relevant scientific field.
Research techniques or methods.
Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures.
Matlab or Python.
Neurophysiological data acquisition.
