Lead Animal Research Technician
Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Animal Research Facility (LARF) Manager, the Lead Animal Care Technician is responsible to coordinate with other team members to maintain the efficient operation of all facility work areas; maintain daily logs on all research animals; maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and drugs; assist in the care, medical treatment and sample collection from research animals; comply with all relevant animal research laws and regulations as well as institutional policies; communicate regularly with and provide assistance and technical instruction to staff, students and faculty as needed.
