About the Job: 80%. Conduct, oversee, and analyze data from multiple experiments, including: - Isolation and culture of primary murine T-cells, including Regulatory T-cells - Retroviral transduction and generation of chimeric antigen receptor T-cells/Regulatory T-cells - Conduct in vitro and in vivo functional assays to assess chimeric antigen receptor T- cell/Regulatory T-cell function - Phenotypic and functional assessment of cultured/modified T cells by flow cytometry - Culture and maintain stocks of primary murine tumor cells lines - Management of experimental animals and injection/ harvest of tissues from animal models - Teach and supervise culture techniques - Accurately records experiments and results - Routine lab maintenance 20%. Lab management and maintenance, including waste removal, supply inventory, as well as other day-to-day laboratory cleanliness activities

Required Qualifications: BA/BS with major in biological science plus one year of experience, or equivalent combination education and experience to total five years. - Experience with routine lab tasks
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with laboratory animals (preferably mice) - Prior experience in the field of Immunology - Prior experience with purification of primary cells (mouse or human) - Flow cytometry experience, including antibody staining, compensation and data acquisition - Proficiency with cell counting utilizing a hemacytometer - Strong cell culture experience, including tumor lines and primary mouse cells - Prior experience maintaining accurate documentation of procedures and experimental data from projects in logical and organized manner - Experience reporting effectively on the progress and direction of individual projects - Ability to initiate and process multiple projects simultaneously
