Job Description: Ohio University is seeking a Director of Laboratory Animal Resources (LAR). The Director is responsible for all aspects of operation of the Laboratory Animal Resources department, which includes direct oversight of all animal care facilities at Ohio University including all regional campuses. The incumbent works within a framework of federal, state and institutional animal regulations and policies of wide scope and complexity. The Director provides leadership and vision for the institutional animal care and use program. The Director reports directly to the Vice President for Research and Creative Activity and is an advisor to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and Institutional Official. Professional judgement
