Junior Research Scientist (P.I.: Kara Margolis Lab)
Position available for one full-time junior research scientist to join Dr. Kara Margolis laboratory, studying the biology of the enteric nervous system (ENS) and the role of the gut in brain-gut axis disorders. The candidates will work closely with the PI and other lab members in the design and implementation of experiments that use mouse genetic models to investigate the role of ENS and epithelial development in gastrointestinal function, motility, inflammatory bowel disease and mood and behavioral disorders. This position requires a bright, self-motivated and organized individuals who is quick to learn new techniques, and feels comfortable working independently as well as with others.
