Laboratory Animal AttendantJob Family:  LR-Service/Maintenance/LaborJob Code:  6062Employee Class:  Teamsters Local 320* This position is governed by the Minnesota Teamsters Union Local 320.* This is a bargaining unit position responsible for the care of laboratory animals in accordance with applicable safety, sanitation and research requirements.Ongoing tasks may include the following: 100%⢠Provide daily husbandry including feeding, caring for, and observing the physical condition of mice, rats, and other lab animals for health concerns â¢ Change out rodent animal housing equipment on a regular basis to ensure animals have clean bedding, feed, and water⢠Provide animal enrichment in order to prompt species specific behavior in a lab environmen
