Assistant Director – Animal Research Program
The University of Alabama at Birmingham Animal Resources Program (UAB-ARP) is seeking a full-time Assistant Director.  In this position, you will assist the ARP Director with overall management of the ARP veterinary medical and surgical programs and directly supervises professional and technical staff. Develop solutions, practices, tools, and processes to improve the animal resources program so as to increase efficiency, employee satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and research quality. Serve the institution by membership on regulatory committees. Participate in the national associations and networks, e.g., NIH sponsored network of institutions.
