The primary responsibility of the Animal Care Manager in Research Animal Resources is to ensure animal husbandry in all animals holding facilities at Johns Hopkins University and Medical Institutions is performed in a manner compatible with all humane, legal, and scientific requirements. Research Animal Resources (RAR) is a service center under the Office of the Vice Provost for Research. RAR is the Johns Hopkins central support service for animal procurement, housing, clinical care, and veterinary research support.
