Job Summary
Comply fully with federal and state laws to oversee controlled substances in the Lester Lab at Caltech
Essential Job Duties
- In accordance with the Controlled Substances and Chemical Precursors Program, will oversee the registration, procurement, inventory, storage, record keeping, use, and disposal of controlled substances and chemical precursors for the Lester Lab.
- Work with Environmental Health and Safety and the Office of Laboratory Animal Research to maintain compliance of the program.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience in a laboratory.
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
